On 11th December 2025, the KAVI-ICR family came together for an exciting and energising team-building experience at Nkasiri Adventure Park. The day promised connection, fun, and renewal, and it certainly delivered.

The adventure began bright and early as two buses filled with eager staff departed from the University parking area at 9:00 a.m. Spirits were high as colleagues looked forward to a day away from the usual routines, ready to bond, laugh, and challenge themselves together.

Upon arrival at Nkasiri Adventure Park, the team was warmly welcomed with breakfast, giving everyone a chance to settle in before changing into their team-building branded shirts. This sight instantly set the tone for unity and shared purpose.

The team-building activities were expertly led by Charles, a Nkasiri Staff member, who kicked things off with stretching and warm-up sessions to energise everyone. This was followed by a series of interactive and engaging games designed to promote teamwork, communication, and healthy competition.

Participants were divided into three teams:

•              Wanoma, led by Roy Mogaka

The friendly competition was intense and enjoyable, culminating in Wanoma emerging as the overall winner, followed by Lion in second place and The Beez in third, a testament to the effort and enthusiasm shown by all teams.

After the games, everyone gathered for a well-deserved lunch, providing time to relax, share stories, and recharge. The afternoon then shifted into high-adrenaline mode, with zip-lining and high-rope activities, where many stepped out of their comfort zones and cheered each other on through thrilling challenges. Others took part in an exhilarating swimming session alongside lively Zumba.

The day concluded on a celebratory note with prize giving, graciously officiated by the Director, Marianne Mureithi. This was followed by a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, symbolising togetherness and shared success. As the formal program ended, staff departed at their own convenience, carrying with them memories of a truly fulfilling day.

The KAVI-ICR team-building event was more than just a day out; it was a powerful reminder of the strength found in collaboration, trust, and shared experiences.
