The recombinant protein production training workshop hosted by KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research in collaboration with BioStruct-Africa has officially commenced today at the University of Nairobi. Taking place at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Nairobi from 27 April to 2 May 2026, the week-long workshop brings together a select group of scientists for an intensive, hands-on learning experience focused on recombinant protein production.

KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research (KAVI-ICR), University of Nairobi, recently hosted a high-level delegation from Sanofi for an engaging visit to discuss potential pathways of collaboration and showcase the institute’s robust research capabilities across the continent.

The KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research, in collaboration with BioStruct-Africa, will host a week-long hands-on training workshop focused on recombinant protein production as a strategic tool for strengthening vaccine manufacturing capacity in Africa.
