The University of Helsinki and the University of Nairobi are joining their forces and forging a strategic partnership to solve some of the most pressing challenges of our times. In this kick off event that marks the beginning of the collaboration, Rector Sari Lindblom and Vice-Chancellor Stephen Kiama open the event and sign the collaboration agreement.

Also addressing the kick off event are Commissioner for International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen, Principal Secretary Amb. Simon Nabukwesi, State Secretary Tuomo Puumala and Ambassador Erik Lundberg.

In a session focusing on One Health, Professor Olli Vapalahti, Professor Omu Anzala and Dr. Moses Masika share their thoughts on the current and future prospects of collaboration.
