KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research of the University of Nairobi congratulates its Director, Prof. Walter Jaoko on his appointment as a member of WHO Research Ethics Committee. Walter Jaoko, a professor of medical microbiology and tropical medicine has built research ethics capacity in several African countries.

KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research conducts phase 1-3 clinical trials of vaccines, therapeutics and devices in all aspects of infectious and non-infectious disease, basic research, implementation science, infectious diseases and virology, among others.
