KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research is proud to highlight the participation of our Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Dr Zipporah Richard, in the One Health Early Career Champions Programme held in Helsinki, Finland.

This prestigious programme is delivered under the strategic partnership between the University of Helsinki and the University of Nairobi, bringing together doctoral researchers and mentors from both institutions to strengthen capacity in One Health.

The programme supports early career researchers to navigate complex global health challenges through multidisciplinary collaboration across human, animal, and environmental health, with a focus on health systems, food security, and education.

Through workshops, mentoring sessions, seminars, and a grand finale, participants build international networks, strengthen leadership pathways, and develop innovative approaches to global challenges.

Dr Richard’s participation reflects both her excellence and KAVI-ICR’s commitment to nurturing globally competitive scientists and strengthening strategic partnerships.
