The World Health Organization states that Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) threatens the effective prevention and treatment of an ever-increasing range of infections caused by bacteria, parasites, viruses and fungi. This discussion will focus on how bacteriophages can help.

In addition to being a PhD student in Tropical & Infectious Diseases at the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, Joyce Ndinadyo is an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Natural Sciences under the College of Science and Technical Education (CoSTE) at Mbeya University of Science and  Technology.
