The University of Nairobi's annual STD/HIV/SRH Collaborative Research Group meeting kicked off on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Serena Hotel, bringing together leading scientists, public health experts, and stakeholders. The opening days set a powerful tone, emphasizing not just scientific presentation but crucial dialogue on the future of research in a changing global landscape.

Day 1: Setting the Stage for Strategic Dialogue

On 11th December 2025, the KAVI-ICR family came together for an exciting and energising team-building experience at Nkasiri Adventure Park. The day promised connection, fun, and renewal, and it certainly delivered.

KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research (KAVI-ICR) was privileged to have been represented at the Sub-Saharan African Network for TB/HIV Research Excellence (SANTHE) annual consortium meeting (ACM) held in Kigali, Rwanda, at the Marriott Hotel from the 3rd to the 7th of November, 2025. SANTHE aims to shape and drive locally relevant basic, clinical and translational research in Africa, with all of the research conducted under SANTHE being led by African scientists.
